Childhood pains to parenting gains! Friends are our chosen family! August 14, 2013. Standing eagerly at the bus station with one big backpack on my back, my boyfriends hand gripped mine in his big comforting hand. With our loose hand we each waved goodbye to our respective families. We were young, naive and in hindsight ill prepared financially! I have been in the UK for 9 years, and have met so many people! I just want to turn around and tell it to shut up! But lif.
